For privacy inquiries: Info@datelectronics.com

2.Data we collect

We collect personal information only when you actively provide it:

  • Contact forms — name, email address, company, role, and the message you send us.
  • Email correspondence — any information you include in emails to us.
  • Cookies & analytics — see Section 5 and our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, biometric, financial account information).

3.How we use your data

  • To respond to enquiries and project briefs you submit.
  • To provide engineering services you engage us for.
  • To send project-related communications.
  • To improve our website and services (aggregated, anonymised analytics only).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4.Legal basis (GDPR)

For individuals in the European Economic Area, our legal bases are:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries and operating our business.
  • Contract — processing data necessary to deliver agreed services.
  • Consent — where you have given explicit consent (e.g., optional analytics cookies).

5.Cookies and analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Any analytics we run are privacy-first and do not associate data with individual identities. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

6.Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and email correspondence for a maximum of three years, or until the purpose for which it was collected is fulfilled. You may request deletion at any time.

7.Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict our processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any right, email us at Info@datelectronics.com. We respond within 30 days.

8.Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take every reasonable precaution.

9.Third-party services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

Our contact form submission service transmits data to a third-party email API solely for the purpose of delivering your message to us. No data is stored by that service beyond delivery.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage periodic review.
